We went to Kalimpong rather than Darjeeling, stayed at wonderful Sterling Park Hotel and were very happy about it. Great place on the hill with top view on Himalaya mountains ( depending on weather of course) very nice people, Manoj really helped us with good advice for activities. Nice meetings with interesting guests … Highly recommended!

Loved the experience, beautiful property. I had booked 2 standard rooms but was interested to see the heritage wing and the rooms. They showed me the room and immediately I wanted to move into it. The room has a room inside with 2 single beds, for our group size it was perfect as 4 people could comfortably stay. The Manager and the staff were gracious enough to let us change one of our standard rooms to the heritage suite at a small price and that enhanced our experience by multiple notches. The food was very good, hospitality was amazing, very very nice staff, ever smiling and courteous. Will highly recommend Sterling.
